The letter from Hans Schmidt to Lt. General Claude Kicklighter USArmy (Ret).  The letter states:

"Dear General Kicklighter,

A friend of mine who ,as an American soldier, fought in the Battle of the Bulge against my unit, the First SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler.  He mailed me a copy of the address (speech) you presented at this year's banquet of the Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge that had been held in Baltimore, Maryland in early September.  I hope you don't mind when I take issue with numerous statements you made in your speech - statements that do not agree with the facts as I know them.
     Whatever I am going to write will not impinge upon the bravery of the numerous (mostly small) units of GIs who, against all odds, delayed the advance of the German elite Panzer Divisions such as the "LAH" and thereby derailed all German hopes for reaching Antwerp and create a physical split between the Americans and their British allies.  In my opinion, it was the lowly GI and not, for instance, SHAEF HQ, that caused the failure of the German Ardennes offensive.
     My main concern relating to your address has to do with your repetition of the "Malmedy Massacre" cannard that has been around since December of 1944, but that has also been soundly disproven by those of my former comrades who had been hauled before an American military kangaroo court shortly after the war, with many of them having been sentenced to death - sentences that were later commuted after the dismal facts of the court prodeedings became known in the United States.  If you are interested to discover what really happened on 17 December 1944 at the Baugnez crossing near Malmedy, may I suggest that you read my new book SS Panzergrenadier, wherein I presented the German side of the story.

You said 'The same day, 140 Americans were taken prisoner and 86 were executed while on a road headed for Malmedy.  Of the 140 men taken prisoner, 43 managed to survive and tell the story of what happened'.
     Your numbers are all wrong, but since we do know that only a handful of the prisoners from the Baugnez crossing engagement were able to flee and reach American lines a few kilometers away after several firefights, the question arises, 'How were the other GIs you had mentioned be able to survive?'  The answer must be (correctly) that they ended up in a POW camp in Germany, which would negate the entire massacre claim, for isn't it essential in a 'massacre' that no witness remain alive?  Ask American veterans of the Vietnam War for confirmation of this statement.
     On page 209 of my book SS Panzergrenadier mentioned above, I stated somewhat different figures for the losses of the various armies that opposed each other in the Battle of the Bulge than you did.  I am afraid that just as with the so-called Malmedy Massacre you are still using numbers and 'facts' that had been presented by Allied propagandists for some decades after the war, but have since been unceremoniously discarded.  Apart from the discrepancy relating to the number of American and German combatants which had been engaged in the battle, you claim that the German losses were 100,000 killed or wounded.  The official tabulation by the German Army Historical Institute is 67,500.  Still high, but lower than the Allied combined losses of 82,400.  You, as a former general, ought to be aware of these facts.
     Again I must mention that I am not denigrating the tenacity and bravery of American soldiers of WW II when I believe that the true hero of that great world conflict was the German Ostfrontkämpfer (Eastern Front soldier).  I am specifically referring to the millions of German Army infantry soldiers who, beginning with the Reich's campaign against the Soviet Union in June of 1941 until the very end of the war almost four years later, fought continuously against overwhelming odds, usually under incredibly difficult conditions.  Often they faced numerical superiority of the Soviets of 4 to 1 and sometimes as high as 1 German soldier against 10 Soviet soldiers.  It was the German Ostfrontkämpfer, the soldiers of the Eastern Front, who prevented the Bolshevists from conquering Europe and reaching the Atlantic perhaps as early as in the spring of 1942.  Once they would have reached the excellent German autobahn system, who and what would have stopped the Red Army with its then superior T-34 tanks in the summer of 1941 as had been Stalin's plan?
     With you having reached General's rank, I am not certain how I can possibly answer the following statement of yours:
                    "If you (Battle of the Bulge veterans) had not won this battle, the final solution
                would have been - the final solution.  There would have been no survivors in
                the death camps."

This seems to imply that you believe all the "Holocaust" nonsense that has been dished out since 1945.  Just in case you are Jewish you may disregard my following admonition since it would be against your religion to commit a blasphemy by doubting everything connected with the "Shoa".  But judging by your picture and your name I am assuming that you are an Aryan and perhaps, just perhaps, I may be able to appeal to your inborn Germanic logic and your sense of reasoning.
     Early this year, in connection with one of the Jewish extortion rackets associated with the "Holocaust" swindle, an article in the New York Times referred to the "hundreds of thousands" of elderly "Holocaust" survivors still around for whom the financial assistance comes much too late in their life.  And just about a year ago, one was able to read in the same paper that more than 377,00 "Holocaust survivors" were still living in the world, most of them in Israel, in the United States, in Argentina, in Europe and in the states of the former Soviet Union.  Knowing some other facts connected with the matter I asked an actuary for an insurance company for an estimate what was the needed original population for such a number of mostly septuagenarians, octogenarians and older people to be still alive half a century after the war.
     This confirms our (revisionists') estimate that Jewish losses in World War II had been about 600,000 from all causes and that includes Jews killed as a result of their partisan warfare.  And never mind the gas chambers, soap from human cadavers and lamp shades made from human skin.  I do hope your instincts tell you that these claims are propaganda hoaxes.
     Besides - you were a soldier.  Soldiers take orders and execute orders.  The Allied airmen who bombed Dresden, Hamburg, Hiroshima, Nagasaki and hundreds of other less important cities like Pforzheim and thereby causing the death of millions of innocent women and children, did not hesitate to execute their orders even if some things just did not seem right to them.  If Hitler had really given the order to kill all Jews of Europe as is alleged, would there still have been millions of Jewish survivors in 1945?

More than 4 million Jews have demanded and received restitution from Germany so far.

Why should we believe that the German Wehrmacht contained fewer potential killers/unquestioned executors of harsh orders than did the U.S. Armed Forces that consisted of just as many soldiers of German/Germanic blood?  At any rate, there was no "final solution" planned or executed - except the one now in the works against the German people by the "liberators from overseas".  The recent demand by the U.S. Government that the Berlin vassals do their utmost to bring Turkey into the now formed United States of Europe has the destruction of the German people in its God-given uniqueness as its final aim.
     Another one of your sentences that stuck in my mind is this one:
                    "You (Battle of the Bulge veterans) fought these battles and won the war
                   and not only saved this nation, but you literally saved the world."
I hate to disappoint you, sir, but I believe that on the very day when American soldiers celebrated their victory over defeated Germany, they had also lost a war for themselves.  Who really won World War II?  Well, who else but World Jewry?  Some wrote:
                    "Right now, when it comes down between Israeli and American
                  citizens, the U.S. Government shall always side with Israel."
We only have to think of the dead sailors of the USS LIBERTY to see the truth of this statement.  As the U.S. Government is preparing this people and its army for another - this time the final - battle for Jewish world supremacy, (this letter was written just prior to the American invasion of Iraq) it becomes more clear every day that the Oberjuden, the Top Jews as I call them, are in charge.  The U.S. Presidency, the U.S. Congress, the U.S. Supreme Court and almost all other American institutions are dancing according to the tunes and desires of the Jews.  Go against them and you are professionally kaput.  The Jewish controlled media will see to that.  The same holds true for every single government in the Western World, and for many other governments on earth including those of the so-called Third World.  Everybody is in fear of the Jews.  This would not have happened if Hitler's Germany had won the was - and no, "Nazi" Germany would not have invaded the U.S.A.  Why would it have?
     Reading your address to the Battle of the Bulge veterans again and noticing your cadence of your words, I cannot avoid the feeling that you had been assigned to present this address to the old soldiers because someone in the U.S. Government (the real, behind the scenes Government) knows that many of the World War II veterans know what I have just written in the previous paragraph.
     Most of these brave men are not dumb - many are politically neither gullible or naive and none still have the trusting innocence of youth.  They also talk to each other and I can imagine that most of them see with dismay what the "powers behind the scenes" have done to this country.  As an observant witness who had the opportunity to watch the decline of the United States ever since my arrival in the summer of 1949, I can attest to the fact that this decline is the result of the nefarious schemes of people (of "A" people) that has only the realization of its own world-conquering dreams in mind.  Your digging out and repeating all the 1945 claims (Malmedy Massacre etc.) seems to indicate that you were ordered to present a 1945 style propaganda-type address to men, who during the war, frequently did not know what they were fighting for.  That is why the photographs of the dead and dying concentration camp inmates gained such an extraordinary importance.  I am enclosing the copy of a secret SHAEF order dated 9 May 1945 to prove my point.
     You claim that American soldiers "literally saved the world" sounds ludicrous when we look about us.  I pity the young people, especially young Americans and Germans, who are forced to grow up right now.  Like it or not, this is still the world of '45.  Currently our youngsters are being raised in a world of lies, of immorality, of corruption, of dishonesty and of utter contempt for all the fine values that had been the essence of the western world for two thousand years.  Rarely has mankind been able to see plans for naked aggression as clearly as we notice them at this moment coming out of the White House.  To top it off, the United States Government is at this very moment engaged in severely restricting by law, the very freedoms that had been the hallmark of this nation since its very foundation.  That which I call the Bolshevization of America is taking place right before our eyes and a man like you who has risen to the rank of general - seemingly a former solder of the first line of defense of the USA - goes before hundreds of wizened old men and fails to make a single reference to the current dismal state of this nation in a lengthy speech to them.  Shame on you.
     Once the Japanese had attacked Pearl Harbor and the United States had enter that which at that very moment became World War II (before that it was only a European conflict) there was no question for millions of young American men and women rising to the defense of their nation.  Most of them did not realize that the attack on the military installations in the Hawaiian Islands did not really present an attack on the United States.  Few had an inkling that Honolulu is as far away from San Francisco as is Los Angeles is from New York.  They also could not know of the treachery that had led to the Japanese attack or realize the deeper reason why a few days after December 7th Germany had been forced to declare was on the United States.  Even those young people who, for one reason or another, had learned to view FDR with disdain and did not believe his utterances, had little choice but to don the uniform.  Personally, I believe in the British adage,
                    "My country, right or wrong."
and in time of a great war such as WW II it is not up to the individual to make his personal choice felt.  We also ought to remember that in most places, it reflects badly on the family if a young man refuses to join his classmates in the battles ahead.  I have never believed that during World War II, young Germans of young Americans really had the option to refuse to sacrifice their lives in the name of their country.
